Grant Making System User Input Invited

From Hal Partlow, Associate Director of Grants—

On December 1 the TN State Central Procurement Office released a procurement for vendors to submit technical proposals for a new fully online grants management system for the Tennessee Arts Commission to launch in late 2016. The goal is to improve efficiency and reduce costs for both grant applicants and the State so as to maximize resources available for the arts.  To see the elements of the proposed new system, click here.

If you see something missing or have a formal suggestion to improve the formal procurement request, please send it to the Solicitation Coordinator Tamara Byrd at tamara.byrd@tn.gov by December 14, 2015.

If you have experience with system vendors or other funders whose systems are terrific, feel free to share the Request for Qualifications 31625-16005 and encourage them to submit a technical proposal for the procurement.  The deadline for vendor responses is January 25, 2016.

Tennessee Arts Commission grantees and applicants will be hearing more about the new system late next year as a vendor is identified and training becomes available.  In the meantime, the grant application process is “business as usual” through eGrant.  Current grant guidelines on the grants webpage. As always, if you have questions about the current grants process, please contact your Tennessee Arts Commission program officer.
