Kristi Duckworth

Kristi Duckworth has been teaching art to people of all ages and doing mosaics for 31 years. She has been working with Creative Aging teaching mosaic to older adults since 2007. All this experience and getting older herself have honed her skills of teaching the art of mosaic to older adults.  A potter as well, she likes to allow participants to make ceramic tiles to use in their mosaics, getting creative in clay and glaze. The hand-made pieces provide the anchor of the artwork and backgrounds are filled in with commercial tiles and glass pieces, keeping the cutting to a minimum.
