Annamaria is a professional/teaching artist. She is an outreach artist with the Knoxville Museum of Art for twenty three years,
ongoing. She is a Rostered Artist with the Tennessee Arts Commission and received numerous grants. Annamaria teaches various mediums:
drawing, painting, pastels, paper cutting, collage and clay sculpture and poetry. She has an array of various craft materials and art resources to offer in her various workshops. She is an experienced Memory Care teaching artist and has taught numerous workshops for Parkinson Disease participants and seniors on all levels. She loves working and sharing her passion for art and learning. and has developed fun and easy hands-on activities that foster creativity and self-confidence.
Thousands of participants have experienced the joy of creating and learning with her. Participants experience a new appreciation for art and many rekindle their desire to create. Some refer to her workshops as a “staycation”. Annamaria believes that engaging in the arts keeps us growing and going

I am a rostered TN teaching artist with a specialty in clay and arts integration. I have developed a memory care program with the Knoxville Museum of Art. I integrate art history into lessons in order to help students see the relationship of art, history and personal experience.
