Deadline extended to Jan. 22, 2020

From Ann Brown, Director of Arts Education –

June 8-10, 2020 Marion County, Tennessee

The conference will recognize the arts as among the key assets in Tennessee by highlighting programs that bring forth the unique strengths of individuals and communities through the arts. Session proposals are being accepted through January 22. There are three different types of sessions to choose from:

  • Sparkplug Sessions offer practical skills and tools needed for daily work in arts management and education.
  • Asset-Based Community Development and Education (ABCDE) Sessions are Sparkplug-inspired sessions with an emphasis on the asset-based approach.
  • Arts Experiences teach a new arts skill and complete a finished artwork while reflecting on conference content.
