More Annual Grant Applications Due January 22

By Hal Partlow, Associate Director of Grants –

Despite the snow, ice and freezing temperatures, organizations across the state were able to meet yesterday’s application deadline for Operating Support. Program directors were busy through close-of-business on Tuesday assisting applicants in spite of the inclement weather.

Next week, Creative Placemaking, all Arts Education, Arts Access and Project Support grant applications are due by Monday, January 22, 11:59 PM.

The activities found within these grant applications benefit communities across the state through improved quality of life, economic development, tourism and by bringing together educators, artists, and community partners to recognize the arts as essential to learning in a variety of instructional settings from the classroom to the community and beyond.

Program directors will continue to provide technical assistance and consultation to applicant organizations until the grant application deadline. I encourage nonprofit organizations and entities of government who provide arts programs to their community to apply for matching funds through any of the programs mentioned above. Please see the Grants-at-a-Glance webpage for links to the guidelines for the grants mentioned above. If you haven’t already done so, register in our online grants system here.

The final Annual Grant deadline will be the last week of January —Individual Artist Fellowship applications are due Monday, January 29.
