Foster is a nationally award-winning artist and a children’s book illustrator with over 20 years of teaching experience. Since retiring as a museum director in 2020, she has been teaching veterans at the VA hospital, to seniors through Creative Aging, to 4H children, to middle school students, to artists at Memphis Botanic Garden, and to artists throughout the community. Foster also enjoys giving art history lectures. She studied in Italy at the University of Bologna. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and a Master of Business Administration degree.
