Southern Prize and State Fellowship Deadline Extended to Nov. 1

Calling all artists! The deadline for @southarts Southern Prize and State Fellowships has been extended through November 1! 

Each year, South Arts distributes $80,000 in cash awards to visual artists in our region (AL, FL, GA, KY, LA, MS, NC, SC, and TN); this includes nine State Fellowships worth $5,000 each, with one Southern Prize winner receiving an additional $25,000 and one finalist receiving an additional $10,000. In addition, both Southern Prize recipients receive a two-week residency at The Hambidge Center for the Creative Arts and Sciences. All nine artists will also be featured in a touring exhibition opening next year.
