South & Appalachian Creative Placemaking Conference

Scholarships are now available to attend The Power of Community! Through the generosity of the Lyndhurst Foundation, there are 25 scholarships of $1,000 each to reimburse for registration and travel to the Conference. You must reside in specific counties located in Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee. These will be awarded on a first come, first served basis, and will be given based on financial need.

Eligibility/Requirements:
- Participants must live and work in the 16-county Thrive Region located in the states of Alabama, Tennessee or Georgia (county list below):

- Murray
- Walker
- Whitfield
Tennessee- Bledsoe
- Bradley
- Hamilton
- Marion
- Meigs
- McMinn
- Polk
- Rhea
- Saquatchie
- The scholarships are open to both individuals and organizations.
- Individual/organization must have a significant programmatic emphasis on creative placemaking.
- Participants chosen will be required to attend a post-conference meeting to debrief, share lessons learned, and deepen local collaborations.
- No more than two scholarship awards will be given to an organization.
- Applications from outside the counties listed above cannot be considered.

Deadline to Register for Conference: March 21, 2025, 11:59 pm PST

- Eligible recipients will be chosen on first-come, first-served basis and based on financial need.
