The deadline to apply for the 2022 Southern Prize and State Fellowships is January 10, 2022.

South Arts is offering a total of $80,000 in cash awards to visual artists in our region (AL, FL, GA, KY, LA, MS, NC, SC, and TN) as well as a two-week residency at The Hambidge Center for the Creative Arts and Sciences. All nine artists selected as 2022 State Fellows will also be featured in a touring exhibition opening next year at the Bo Bartlett Center for the Arts in Columbus, Georgia, and touring for up to 18 months (exact details are TBD). The deadline to apply is January 10, 2022.
