Metro Arts Community Arts Leaders of Nashville Applications Now Open

It may not feel like it these days, but now is a great time to think about summer! Metro Arts’ Community Arts Leaders of Nashville provides paid summer internship opportunities to undergraduate students at Nashville-based arts organizations. Applications are now open! The deadline to apply is Wednesday, March 1, 2023.
For undergraduate college students: Metro Arts expects to award eight internships at Nashville-based arts organizations. Internship dates are Monday, June 5, 2023 – Friday, August 11, 2023. Interns each receive $7,500 to work 25 hours/week (~$30/hour). This also includes ~5 hours of one-on-one mentoring with an arts professional, 5 hours of professional development workshops, and optional arts and culture experiences around Nashville.
For organizations: We are also looking for host sites for interns! Host sites should be arts-focused 501c(3) nonprofit organizations either in Davidson County or conducting a majority of programming in Davidson County. An arts-focused organization is one whose primary mission is to directly support the performance, exhibition, or instruction of art.
