As you probably remember, the Gift-A-Tag program was introduced last March as a unique opportunity to give the gift of Specialty License Plates—a vital means of funding for arts and culture in Tennessee.
In 2015, revenue from the Specialty License Plate program provided $4.5 million of the $5.3 million in grants made to over 600 schools, nonprofits and local governmental entities in every county across the state.
We can help maintain and even increase this funding by supporting the Specialty License Plate program by buying Gift-A-Tags for the holidays. They make great gifts for board members, staff, volunteers as well as friends and family.
Each Gift-A-Tag is good for the purchase of any Specialty License Plate, the personalization of any Tennessee license plate or the renewal of a Specialty License Plate for friends, family or anyone else on your list. Gift-A-Tags are $35 each and can be purchased online. The Gift-A-Tag voucher can then be printed or emailed to your recipients—now that’s an easy way to get your shopping done.
Recipients of your Gift-A-Tags can choose a Specialty License Plate that represents the cause they care about the most, including any of our four arts plates. They can also be used for personalizing a plate as well as renewing a Specialty License Plate or personalized plate.
Thank you for your support of the arts in Tennessee and Happy Thanksgiving.
