FY25 Annual Grant Guidelines

Guidelines are now open for FY2025 Annual Grants. Annual Grants support an array of arts activities and projects by arts organizations, nonprofits, local governments, and schools in communities across Tennessee. It is strongly recommended that you first read the grant guidelines before the applications open on November 1, 2023. You will find the guidelines on the individual grant pages located under Grant Opportunities.

Some changes to the grant guidelines include increased maximum request amounts and the option to spend grant funds in more expense categories. See guidelines for more information on changes and requirements for each grant program.

FY2025 Grant Applications will open November 1, 2023 in the online grants system and have the following deadlines:

  • Monday, January 8, 2024
    Application Deadline for Major Cultural Institutions, Partnership Support, Small Rural Partnership Support, Small Urban Partnership Support
  • Tuesday, January 16, 2024
    Application Deadline for Arts Access, Arts Project Support, Rural Arts Project Support, Arts Education Community Learning, Arts Education Teacher Training, Arts Pathways for Youth Success, Arts360, Creative Placemaking, Creative Placemaking: Rural Arts Project Support Grant
  • Monday, January 22, 2024
    Application Deadline for Individual Artist Fellowship

All applications are accepted through the Commission’s online grant system. If you do not have an account, you can learn about how to register here. As registration may take between 1-7 days to be approved, it is important that you register well ahead of any grant application opening or deadline to avoid missing a potential funding opportunity.
