Tennessee Arts Commission Annual Grants are open as of October 15, 2015. Deadlines are scheduled throughout January and can be found on individual grant guidelines. Click here to view available grants.

The Tennessee Arts Commission is also launching a new grant program on October 15, 2015. The Arts360 Arts Integration (AE-AI) grant program supports whole-school arts integration programs to improve instruction and increase student outcomes through arts integration. Arts360 brings teachers full circle, as learners, collaborators, facilitators, and reflectors by making arts-based and arts integrated learning a critical component of every child’s educational experience. Application deadline is Monday, January 11, 2016 by 4:30 p.m. CST. A project may not begin until July 1, 2016 and must conclude by June 15, 2019.

Chamber Music America, the national network of ensemble music professionals, is now accepting applications for the Residency Partnership Program. This grant helps professional ensembles and presenters build audiences through residency projects performed by classical, contemporary, early music, jazz and world music ensembles. Application deadline is November 6, 2015 at 11 p.m. CST.

Calls For Artists

The Dogwood Arts Festival in downtown Knoxville is accepting applications for artist exhibitors through November 2, 2015—open to all artists within the accepted media categories. Sell your original work in mixed media, clay, drawing/pastels, glass, jewelry, leather, metal, painting, drawing, photography, sculpture and wood. The festival will be held April 29 – May 1, 2016. A juried event, over $2,000 will be awarded in prize monies to participating artists.

The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority’s (MNAA) Arts at the Airport and the Bonnaroo Works Fund, in celebration of the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, are partnering once again for the third annual Bonnaroo-themed Skylight Exhibition at Nashville International Airport (BNA). Artist proposals for site-specific sculptures or kinetic mobiles are now being accepted through November 15, 2015. Five winners will be selected December 14, 2015.

OZ Arts has partnered with Tony Youngblood to present the second edition of the sprawling Modular Art Pods (MAPs) installation. They are accepting proposals through November 16, 2015. The exhibition will be featured June 21-25, 2016 at Oz Arts.

The City of Kingsport Office of Cultural Arts and Tennessee Craft have partnered to bring the 4th Annual Carousel Fine Craft Show. Exhibitor applications are available now for the March 2016 show. All work must be hand-made fine craft/art work done and shown by the artists. This year Tennessee Craft board of directors will serve as the jury committee. Deadline for entires is December 2, 2015.
