Chattanooga’s own SPLASH Youth Arts Workshop has been nominated to win a 2019 True Inspiration Award from the Chick-fil-A Foundation and could win $75,000. Through the awards, the Foundation gives individual grants to organizations across the nation working to inspire children and youth in their communities.

Help SPLASH by casting your vote on the Chick-fil-A App beginning on Saturday, September 8 until 9/30/2018. You can download the Chick-fil-A® App in the App Store or Google Play. To learn more about the contest, click here.

Led by Executive Director Charlie Newton, SPLASH is a year-round free arts workshop for youth ages 6-17 in Chattanooga’s Westside. SPLASH provides mentoring, caring and guidance to more than 200 youth each year. “We’re a safe place with structure, creativity, snacks and positive adult guidance,” says Newton.

SPLASH is one of ArtsBuild’s Community Arts Partners and Mission Support grant recipients, and a grantee of the TN Arts Commission.
