Special Opportunities Grants for National Arts Marketing Project Conference Available

This November 10-13, the National Arts Marketing Project (NAMP) Conference is heading to Memphis, TN with more than 30 sessions, 3 keynotes and 2 pre-conferences on the foundations of growth: authentic storytelling, customer retention, robust analytics and innovative digital marketing. The conference will be held at the Peabody Hotel November 10-13, 2017.

Arts marketers, the TN Arts Commission wants to help you get there by offering eight Special Opportunities grants for up to $500 towards conference costs. Grant awards are on a first come first served basis. You can apply as an individual or as an organization. To receive instructions on how to apply for the grant, email Hal Partlow. The deadline for grant applications is October 10, 2017.

A requirement for the grant is for the applicant to attend a two-hour brainstorming session about the Specialty License Plate program on Friday, November 10 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. CT. Dinner will be served. Contact me if you have questions about the meeting.

Conference Highlights

Author of “How to Sell Better than Amazon,” Harvard professor and growth marketing expert Sam Mallikarjunan is this year’s NAMP closing keynote.
 Mallikarjunan will explore what he calls “one of the most interesting period in the history of marketing.” In an era of disruption, where established incumbents are disrupted daily by fast-moving upstarts breaking all the rules, learn how to get your brand top-of-mind and keep it there. After his keynote, Mallikarjunan will also be signing copies of his book, “How to Sell Better than Amazon“.
