Cash received his A.B. from the University of Georgia and studied at the Beaux Arts Institute of Design and the New York School of Art. Cash sought out models among the entertainers he met while in Paris and his sculptures were exhibited at the Salon d’Automne, the Salon des Indépendents, and Salon des Tuileries, as well as the Galerie La Flize in France, and the Town Hall Club, Brooklyn Museum, and Museum of Modern Art in New York.
