Upcoming FY2023 Grant Application Deadlines

From Ann Brown, Associate Director of Grants –

See the schedule below for application deadlines for  FY2023 Annual Grant categories. Remember that Tennessee Arts Commission grants are competitive. Successful applications are clear and thorough, demonstrate artistic excellence and value to the community served with outlined, identifiable goals and measurable outcomes. Applicants should start early. Commission program directors are available to assist with the application process and provide feedback on draft proposals in advance of deadlines.

501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations and local entities of government, including public schools and libraries that have never applied for a grant are encouraged to contact staff to discuss if the organization is eligible to apply. New applicants should register in the Online Grant System to prepare for completing an application. Visit the Grant Opportunities page and filter for “open” to see if a grant opportunity is right for your organization.

Once an application is submitted online, a program director will be assigned the application based on the artistic discipline of the project or the type of grant. The designated staff member will review the application for eligibility and completeness. If there are any questions or if the application is incomplete, applicants will receive a request to submit the missing information. Applications will be reviewed during panel meetings scheduled in March and April 2022. Visit the Application Review page for more information.
