TN Arts Rolling Grants Available in Fiscal Year 2027

The Tennessee Arts Commission is offering several Rolling Grant opportunities in Fiscal Year 2027. Grants cover a range of arts activities and arts services throughout the state between July 2026 and June 2027. Applicants are encouraged to apply for projects that increase arts participation for all, offer professional development in the arts, support arts learning for people of all ages, support health and wellbeing through the arts, or engage audiences in performances and hands-on artmaking.

Rolling Grants are grants reviewed and awarded on an ongoing basis, according to the availability of funds and distributed first-come, first-served. Current Fiscal Year 2027 TN Arts grantees may be eligible to apply for a Rolling Grant if the project is not currently covered by another TN Arts grant. Applications Open July 1st

Creative Aging Tennessee IV: Supports sequential arts learning for older adults aged 60+ in rural communities and urban counties with “art deserts” to address social isolation, reduced access to trained artists, and residents in geographically challenged areas. Special Opportunities – Arts Forward: Support for Tennessee arts organizations and local governments. Designed for flexibility, this program supports a wide range of activities including technical assistance, small equipment or supply purchases, and arts events in Tennessee communities. Up to $5,000. Targeted Arts Development Initiative: Support for arts projects in underserved, rural communities with special focus on Distressed counties and At-Risk counties. Up to $5,000. Arts Education Mini-Grant: Funds for small-scale arts learning projects including one-day workshops, single events with meaningful hands-on arts learning, short-term arts learning project series, professional development for arts educators, and other small-scale arts learning activities. Application Opens August 12th

Student Ticket Subsidy: Support for artist fees, tickets, and transportation for Tennessee public schools carrying out arts field trips and in-school artist residencies. Up to $3,000. Contact Julia Stark, Arts Learning Specialist, at julia.stark@tn.gov.

Application Opens September 1st

Tennessee Arts & Rural Health: Support for arts programs that increase health and wellness outcomes involving patients, their families, and staff in rural TN hospitals. More information coming soon. Contact Kim Johnson, Director of Arts & Health, at kim.johnson@tn.gov.
