The Student Ticket Subsidy (STS) grant application opens Wednesday, August 12 to Tennessee K-12 public schools. STS funding covers artist fees, tickets, and transportation for arts field trips and in‑school arts projects.
Funds are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, by demand, and per capita in all 95 Tennessee counties. Each school is eligible to apply for up to $3,000. Schools must partner with approved individual artists and organizations listed on the Commission’s Teaching Artist Roster.
The Student Ticket Subsidy grant application opens in the Online Grants System on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. Central Time. Ahead of the August 12 opening, teachers should make sure to have their login information ready or to register in the system if they are first-time applicants. For more information on how to apply and what will be required in the grant application, view the STS Guidelines.
