PERFORMING ARTS DISCOVERY SHOWCASE: CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

Western Arts Alliance (WAA) is accepting applications for the 2024 cycle of the Performing Arts Discovery (PAD) program: an international virtual showcase opportunity for U.S.-based performing artists who are ready to tour internationally.

The PAD Showcase program introduces international presenters to U.S.-based performing artists and companies, aiming to generate overseas touring opportunities.

Those selected for the program will each receive support from an expert video production team to create a professionally produced live performance video, which PAD will promote and showcase to international markets. You can see detailed program benefits here.

Applications are open to music, dance, and theater artists/ensembles with a demonstrated capacity to tour internationally.

Applications opened on Monday, November 6 and will close at 5pm PT on Friday, January 5, 2024. PAD encourages those who identify as BIPOC and/or LGBTQ+ to apply. You can see the work of the 2023 PAD Showcase cohort here.
