Metro Arts Operating Support Grants for FY24
From Metro Arts –
In order to support Nashville’s arts organizations in their ongoing recovery following challenges related to the Covid-19 pandemic, Metro Arts is continuing to provide operating support for the FY24 grant cycle. We have shifted to a flat-funding model that more equitably supports historically under-represented communities in the arts ecosystem in Nashville. Learn more about this new model in our grant guidelines and apply here on our Grants page. Deadline to apply is Monday, 3/20.
We are hosting a few meetings to support community members during the application process:
- Q&A/Resource-Sharing Event: Friday, 2/3 from 12-1:30pm CST at Metro Arts (1417 Murfreesboro Pike), Antioch Room. If you’re new to the grants process or want to connect with Metro Arts staff, this is for you! We are holding an informal space for you to ask questions about the grant processes, timelines, support systems, and anything else. Email Dana Parsons if you plan to attend.
- Virtual Grant Workshop: Wednesday, 2/15 from 10-11am CST. Join us for an overview of the operating grant process, including eligibility, application process, technical assistance, and clarifications on any grant updates and changes. Email artsrsvp@nashville.gov for the virtual meeting link.
Grant Clinics (multiple times available): We invite applicants to sign up and walk through their application with Metro Arts staff to (1) ask questions, (2) get clarification on grant changes, and, if applicable, (3) elevate a draft of the application responses. Time is open to connect directly with the needs of the individual or organization. Sign up here using Calendly or email jonathan.saad@nashville.gov.
