Grant Closeouts for FY25 – Close Now if You Can

By Sarah Griffin, Director of Grants Management,

As always, early closeout of grants is strongly encouraged to maximize timely reimbursement. Please submit final evaluation and request for funds as soon as activities are complete and grant and any match funds have been expended.   For guidance on closeout process, see https://tnartscommission.org/art-grants/manage-your-grant/

For video tutorials about closing your grant, including tips and hints and what to avoid, go to https://tnartscommission.org/art-grants/webinars/

To find the reports needed to close your grant, log into the online grants system and look in the left-hand menu under GRANTS MANAGEMENT for Reports Due and/or Changes Requested. Fill in the forms and don’t forget to attach the following to the final evaluation: an Itemized List of Expenditures, and TN Arts Commission credit. Be sure to click “Submit” at the bottom right when you are ready.

The single most important piece of information you need for grant closeout is the Itemized List of Expenditures showing allowable expenses to be reimbursed and the required match for your organizations grant. This is uploaded as part of the final evaluation. Align your expenditures with your approved grant contract budget or contact your program officer to request a contract line-item budget change if needed.
