Equity Grants for Individual Artists in Hamilton County

From ArtsBuild –

Funding is available for artists with disabilities who live and work in Hamilton County. This award is open to anyone who identifies as disabled. Disability as you experience it may include, but is not limited to, cognitive, learning, and developmental disabilities; emotional or mental health disabilities; and/or physical disabilities.

We acknowledge disability justice and encourage artists who are part of historically excluded groups, such as women, people of color, immigrants, and people who identify as LGBTQ+ to apply for this award. Accommodations are available as needed.

Grant funding will be available in three funding categories: Artist Works, Equipment, and Professional Development. Disciplines considered include Visual (2D, 3D, Installation), Fine Craft, Media (Film, Photography), Performance (Dance, Music, Theater), and Literary. Funding for the new program is provided by individual donors, the Lyndhurst Foundation, and the Benwood Foundation.

The application deadline is Wednesday, October 30, and applicants may apply for up to $10,000 in funding. For more information, visit artsbuild.com or email Melissa Astin.
