Arts & Economic Prosperity Final Deadline

AFTA-Econ

From Grace Robinson, Public Information and Research Coordinator —

It has been quite the year of data collecting for our Arts and Economic Prosperity 5 (AEP5) study. Thank you, thank you to all of the organizations and individuals who have participated thus far. Working with either the TN Arts Commission or one of our 25 terrific local study partners to submit surveys, you have been instrumental in this highly valued study.

While we are closing in on the final deadline, there is still time to participate in AEP5. Data collection ends on December 31, 2016 with the calendar year. We are spending the remainder of December giving organizational surveys a big push. The more organizations that participate by submitting their information, the more accurately the study will reflect Tennessee’s nonprofit arts and culture. It is imperative that we have the best representation possible so that the study will be strong. Once released, it will be a fantastic advocacy tool, useful in creating marketing and promotional strategies, and will allow for national peer comparisons.

Download the survey and mail or email your completed survey to the address provided on the document.

We request that you provide information about your 2015 or 2016 fiscal year. The one-page survey will ask you to provide your organization’s total support and revenue, total value of in-kind donations received, total operating expenses, total capital expenses, size of workforce/volunteers, and total attendance.  Your best estimates are fine (enter zeroes if applicable).

Thank you for your participation in this important research study. If you have any questions, please contact me at grace.robinson@tn.gov or 615.253.5133.
