Wise graduated from the Johnson Atelier in Mercerville, New Jersey, and Austin Peay State University, where he studied under Olen Bryant. He also studied at the Blackheath School of Art in London. His work is in collections all over the United States and as far as Australia. Public work includes commissions by Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital, Montgomery County Government in Clarksville, TN, the City of Clarksville, Austin Peay State University, and the Nashville Public Library among many others.
