In this photograph, Scarborough focuses on capturing the image of a woman with digitally enhanced eyes inspired by the Japanese anime style. His work has been reviewed in magazines such as Art Papers (2006 & 2005), NY Arts Magazine (2006 & 2007), The Planet and Hi Fructose (2009), and New American Paintings (2001, 2004, 2008, and 2010) among others.

He has exhibited nationally and internationally at the Marcia Wood Gallery in Atlanta, Curator’s Office in Washington D.C., the Foley Gallery in New York City as well as locations in Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, London and Tokyo. Scarborough’s work can be found in the collections of the Tennessee State Museum, 21C Museum, and Lipscomb University. In 2008 he received the Tennessee Arts Commission’s Individual Artist Fellowship.
