Music Purchasing Admin Grant Opportunity – Tennessee Person-Centered Music Program

The Tennessee Arts Commission seeks a nonprofit partner to provide digital music purchasing administrative support for nursing home residents participating in the Tennessee Person-Centered Music Program. To begin as soon as a viable partner(s) can be identified, grant support will cover 1 FTE salary, benefits, and digital songs cost through June 2022 and may renew through June 2023. State staff will provide individualized lists of approximately 50 songs per resident to be purchased and downloaded on an ongoing basis.

The Tennessee Person-Centered Music Program offers Tennessee nursing home residents, including those with dementia and Alzheimer’s, personalized music through digital devices to deliver individualized playlists to reduce medication usage and adverse behaviors while improving quality of life and health outcomes.
