Collective Impact Conference Countdown

By Suzanne Lynch, Director of Marketing and Development —

Collective Impact

The Collective Impact Conference is in just 24 days! We are thrilled that almost 200 of you have already registered. If you haven’t yet, please do so today. It will help us finalize our plans and ensure you can get a hotel reservation.

The conference will be held in two adjacent facilities—the Patterson Park Community Center and Bradley Academy. Having use of these two buildings will give us plenty of room to stretch out, but we don’t want you to get lost. Grace Robinson, our Public Information and Research Coordinator, has produced three detailed maps that will be in your program, but they can also be viewed and downloaded here.

Exciting news for arts educators – the conference has been approved for Continuing Education Units (CEUs). Teachers attending the entire Collective Impact Conference from June 7-10, 2016 may earn 2.2 Continuing Education Units (CEUs). One CEU is equivalent to ten (10) contact hours of participation in an approved organized continuing education program. The Collective Impact Conference offers a maximum of 22 hours of professional development (22 contact hours = 2.2 CEUs). Conference attendees interested in earning CEUs should bring a check made payable to Tennessee State University in the amount of $20, complete the CEU Registration Form available at the Conference Check-in Table, and attend sessions during the duration of the conference.
