Stanton Cannery, Kitchen & Café

The Town of Stanton utilized their Creative Placemaking grant to expand the Stanton Cannery, a longstanding resource to the region for canning homegrown fruits and vegetables. The expansion of the Cannery has allowed children and adults to be trained in the culinary arts, encouraged healthier diets, and created incubation space for potential entrepreneurs. The Town of Stanton has designated the Cannery as an essential asset for the community and purchased kitchen equipment for processing food and to institute culinary arts classes.
