Building a Resilient Community Through the Arts

The Center commissioned and installed a life-size bronze sculpture of Fiddlin’ Fred Price in Mountain City, with the sculptor creating the piece in a downtown storefront and engaging the public through a workshop and exhibition. This project built upon the town’s musical heritage and the existing Mural Mile Trail. It deepened cultural pride by preserving the legacy of a local icon and involving community elders in storytelling.
