AEP6 Postponed Until 2021

From Carol White, Associate Director of Operations –

Due to COVID-19, the upcoming Arts & Economic Prosperity 6 study has been postponed for one year. Study partner recruitment will occur in 2021. To put more daylight between the coronavirus and the study, audience and organization surveying will take place in 2022 (about FY 2021-22 budgets/attendance). AEP6 will demonstrate that during a crisis, the arts and culture sector is a substantial industry that will play a huge role in our economic recovery.

To learn more, email Ben Davidson at bdavidson@artsusa.org. (NEW FOR AEP6! Improved techniques will provide itemized findings about government revenues such as income, sales, and hotel taxes that are generated by the industry.)  Tennessee arts councils interested in becoming local study partners are also encouraged to contact Shannon Ford, Director of Community Arts Development to make sure your organization is contacted for any special rates or state support for the study.
