Rocky Top Community Makerspace

The City of Rocky Top created a makerspace in their community center and hosted monthly artist workshops. The City planned these activities in response to the continued disinvestment of Rocky Top and to provide citizens recreational alternatives. This project coincided with other City efforts to rejuvenate and cultivate the downtown area, including an ATV trail throughout the opening of the Coal Creek Miner’s Museum.
