Johnson County Arts Center & Mural

The Johnson County Center for the Arts created a mural depicting the historic Fiddler’s Convention on the new Arts Center Building, hired artists to teach at the Center, and purchased tables and chairs for ongoing programming. The project built on the renovation of a high school into Heritage Hall Theater, three downtown murals, and the momentum of Long Journey Home, a heritage music and arts festival. The project included the creation of an affordable downtown space where local artists and artisans can sell their work.
