Gaston Park

The City of Memphis designed and commissioned a new gateway for Gaston Park, based on community input about desired improvements to the park and walking trail. The entryway, created in collaboration with the National Ornamental Metal Museum, served as a visual landmark that welcomed residents and visitors alike. This project reinforced the park’s role as a community gathering space and elevated the neighborhood’s cultural identity. Despite challenges, the effort supported civic pride and improved access to shared public space.
