Joe Reynolds lives in Pulaski, Tennessee, and teaches art at the University of North Alabama and at Martin Methodist College. A Fulbright scholar, he holds an M.F.A. in photography from Massachusetts College of Art & Design and a B.A. in journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He was awarded a residency at Anderson Ranch Arts Center in Colorado and a scholarship to study at the Salzburg Academy of Fine Art in Austria. Born in the US, he is a dual Brazilian/American citizen, and he has traveled extensively within Brazil. He draws from this dual identity to explore the symbiosis between self and place.
