Manage Individual Artist Fellowship (IAF) Grants

IMPORTANT DATES:

  • Early July 2025: Fellowship award and denial letters are emailed to all applicants.
  • July 31, 2025: Fellowship recipient deadline for responding to email from DocuSign requesting an electronic signature for your fellowship contract, and emailing hal.partlow@tn.gov:
    • A complete and signed IRS W-9 form
    • A letter to the Commission indicating how you plan to utilize the funds and how you anticipate this award will benefit your career as a professional artist.

TO EXPEDITE THE PROCESSING TIME OF FELLOWSHIP PAYMENTS: TN Arts Commission grant payments will be made by direct deposit. First-time grant recipients and all previous grantees that have received payment via check in the past must sign up for grant payment by direct deposit.

    • If grantees have not had previous access to an Edison account with the State of Tennessee Supplier Maintenance, complete the Supplier Maintenance SDDA Access Form first and email to FA.SupplierSupport@tn.gov.
    • To add, change, or remove bank account information on file with the State of Tennessee, grantees with access to their Edison Accounts should also complete the Supplier Maintenance SDDA Access Form and submit the form to FA.SupplierSupport@tn.gov.
    • In both previous instances, someone from Supplier Support will contact you.  Supplier support will either email you with the SDDA Form (step 2) link or contact you (via email or phone) if there are issues with the access form.
    • Once direct deposit is set up for a supplier (grantee) of the State of Tennessee, grantees are offered the convenience of having direct deposit notifications sent via email one business day prior to the date of deposit. To add a new email address or change an existing email address receiving payment notifications, complete the Email Deposit Notification Form and follow the instructions in the form to submit electronically.
