City of Winchester's Murals
The mural project was to pay homage to the history of Winchester’s community and spur economic growth. Artist Emily Ragland is an art teacher at a local middle school and she let some of her students paint with her. Additionally, local artist Karen Ingle assisted.
Nashville artist Chris Becks completed the Mike Farris mural.
Sizes: Dinah Shore 20 x 40 feet, Mike Farris 20 x 30 feet, Vols Coaches, 12 x 20 feet, Rising Sun Redbuds 10 x 20 feet
The mural was sponsored by the Tennessee Arts Commission’s FY20 Creative Placemaking Grant and managed by the City of Winchester.
