"Welcome to Townsend" Arts and Heritage Mural

Townsend Cades Cove Gateway Alliance commissioned and created the “Welcome to Townsend Arts and Heritage Mural” to enhance awareness of and celebrate the arts and heritage opportunities available in the community. The mural is located on a concrete wall overlooking US 321, entering Townsend from Maryville, and is the product of collaboration with the Townsend Artisan Guild. This project is part of an overall plan to enhance and illuminate Townsend’s cultural assets.
