Making Heritage Square - An Arts Destination in Downtown Mountain City

The organization commissioned a mural that transformed a block building in Mountain City into a backdrop for Heritage Square, celebrating the region’s musical legacy. The project reinforced the area’s cultural history and expanded the downtown’s Mural Mile, fostering place-based pride. It significantly enriched community participation through exhibitions and historical markers. Despite pandemic-related challenges, the effort strengthened local identity and civic engagement.
