Postmark LaFollette Venue

The Postmark LaFollette project repurposed the historic former LaFollette post office facility as an arts and culture center, exhibit space, and performance venue. For an area lacking in industry and economic strength, but rich in natural beauty and resources, the series of included events and exhibits in the project spurred artistic and cultural experiences valuable to locals and tourists alike.

A small, one-story brick building with a flat roof and symmetrical design, featuring steps leading to double doors and windows on either side, sits under a cloudy sky along a quiet street.

A group of people, mostly older adults, sit in rows of chairs facing a stage in a community room with blue curtains and framed pictures on the walls. Many are holding programs and appear to be waiting for an event to begin.

A large group of people of various ages pose indoors for a group photo. Some are seated, and others stand behind them. The photo is in sepia tone, and everyone is facing the camera, smiling.
