Bridge Building Public Art Initiative

Athens Area Council for the Arts held meetings to establish a public art committee, made communty presentations focused on cross-sector collaboration, and hosted community events designed to directly engage community members in creative expression. The project built on the Council’s momentum developing the multi-use Pocket Park as a cohort member in Thrive Regional Partnership’s Thriving Communities Placemaking Program.
