As a retired art instructor in Memphis City Schools, Becky Ross McRae now has the opportunity to express her creative art in a variety of media.  Painting, drawing, sculpture, and photography have found a fresh place in her repertoire of creative art. With pencil and paint and photography she has developed a vital palette of colorful expression.

She is a long-time member of Bartlett Art Association, Artist’s Link, MidSouth Art League, and Memphis Camera Club, where she has been named Photographer of the Year multiple times. Becky McRae also created the original Lakeland City Seal that was commissioned under then Mayor William H. Howick.

McRae has exhibited in many galleries locally including WKNO, Saint Francis Hospital Bartlett, Memphis Botanic Garden, Lakeland City Hall, Nikon Askew Ferguson, Memphis College of Art, Christian Brothers University, Memphis City Hall, Memphis Public Library and many others. She has also had gallery representation in New York City, is in a number of private collections, and has a permanent exhibit of her nature photos at Reelfoot Visitor Center in Northwest Tennessee.
