How to connect to an AVAZA interpreter

When the LEP person is present at your location:

  1. Dial the assigned DID or toll-free number.
  2. Provide your access code, your name, and the language that you are requesting.
  3. You will be connected to an interpreter.

When the LEP person is on the telephone with you:

  1. Place them on hold and dial the assigned DID or toll-free number.
  2. Provide your access code, your name, and the language that you are requesting.
  3. You will be connected to an interpreter.
  4. Once you have the interpreter on the line, conference-in the LEP, yourself and the interpreter. If you don’t know how to use the conferencing feature on your telephone, contact your telephony administrator.

When you need to contact the LEP and conference-in the interpreter:

  1. Dial the assigned DID or toll-free number.
  2. Provide your access code, your name, and the language that you are requesting.
  3. Indicate that you need to perform a “call out,” at the beginning of the call.
  4. Provide the LEP person’s contact number and our agent will call that number and conference-in all parties.
