Meet Our Conference Sponsors and Vendors
From Suzanne Lynch, Director of Marketing and Development —
The Tennessee Arts Commission would like to thank our generous sponsors for helping us create an event-filled four days in Murfreesboro at the Collective Impact Conference.
Bradley Academy, an arts integrated school, is located next door to the Patterson Park Community Center and will be helping host the conference. Under the leadership of Principal Jenny Ortiz, the school has opened its doors, and classrooms, for conference sessions. Additionally, students will be treating us to a very special performance of The Lion King at breakfast on Wednesday morning.
On Thursday, June 9 at 5:00 p.m., the Discovery Center will welcome conference attendees for a reception at the museum. You can embrace your inner child while mingling with friends and colleagues.
At 6:00 p.m., we will them embark on a VIP Boro Art Crawl with Dine-Around options. The Boro Art Crawl has graciously organized the evening specifically for conference attendees and will include a mix of galleries and businesses featuring local art.
Jerry’s Artarama is a familiar friend at Create conferences and has once again jumped in to provide conference supplies and goodies. They will have a table in the conference Arts Hive so plan to stop by.
Lastly, we want to thank our host city and county. The City of Murfreesboro is working arm-in-arm with the Commission to present the Summer Arts Jam on Murfreesboro City Plaza starting at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 8. The city’s Patterson Park Community Center is our conference hub and everyone at the center is working hard to ensure the space will meet our needs. The Rutherford County Convention and Visitors Bureau has been instrumental in connecting the Commission to local businesses.
We hope that you will find time to meet our partners and discover the treasures that make up Murfreesboro. We also have a couple of terrific vendors to mention who will add that special touch to our experience.
Catering the conference this year is Murfreesboro’s own CJ Catering. Chef Jeff has prepared a robust menu we think will appeal to everyone’s palette and every meal includes a vegetarian option. We have sampled Chef’s Bourbon Chicken and can testify it is truly delicious.
Hip Hues is just about the hippest thing for events. This mobile printing company will bring their printers and dryers so we can silk screen our own take-away — a t-shirt, apron or canvas print. Hip Hues will set up in our Arts Hives. It only takes a few minutes to screen your item and Hip Hues staff will be on hand to guide you through the process.
Special Opportunities grants are still available to support registration fees and travel. We look forward to seeing you there!
