Alan Shuptrine opened his solo museum exhibition with a private reception on May 18th at the Tennessee State Museum. The exhibition, "Alan Shuptrine: Appalachian Watercolors of the Serpentine Chain", features over 50 watercolors depicting the land, people, and culture along the Appalachian Trail. It highlights the traditions and cultural aspects the original settlers brought to the mountains from their British and Celtic way of life.
