March 31 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Local Nashville contemporary dance company, Numinous Flux, prepares for its upcoming performance of Andorra, set to premiere March 31, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at Vanderbilt’s Ingram Hall. This collaborative work of dance, writing, and theater has been several years in the making. Excerpts from Andorra have been featured as the national winner of Bella Moxi’s Choreographic Festival and performed at the Peridance APEX Showcase in New York City.
Set in 1920’s America, Andorra is about grief. It is about arriving in the hereafter to find life was, in fact, enough. Andorra approaches the concepts of love, family, death, and depression with beautiful choreographic imagery from the mind of Laura Valentine. This visual novel pulls the audience in by both hands towards a great abyss where below the surface, suddenly breath fills lungs.
Tickets can be purchased online at www.numinousflux.com, and follow Numinous Flux on social media to stay up to date on company happenings.
