The Tennessee Arts Commission has heard from many arts organizations regarding how concerns about Coronavirus (COVID-19) is affecting operations. We have received your concerns, including the loss of ticket sales, cancelations of performances, fundraising events, projects, and classes. We are exploring ways to help, such as modifying guidelines to allow flexibility for authorized expenditures in existing grants.
Additionally, the Commission is aware of the apprehensions many applicants have about traveling during the advisory panel season. Therefore, FY 2021 Advisory Panels, scheduled to begin Monday, March 23, will convene remotely, not in person. Staff will send applicants and panelists further information about how to access panels virtually. See the detailed panel information here.
