Persist and Prosper, a webinar series designed for TN nonprofit arts organizations and artists

From Suzanne Lynch, Director of Marketing and Development, TN Arts and Jonathan Harwell-Dye, Program Manager, Arts & Business Council of Greater Nashville –

The Tennessee Arts Commission and the Arts and Business Council of Greater Nashville have teamed up to offer Tennessee nonprofit arts and cultural organizations and artists a series of webinars designed to navigate these challenging times. Over the next six months, a webinar will be presented each month. Topics will range from how to hold an online fundraising event to leadership in times of crisis.

The first topic of the series is “How to Take Your Programs Virtual” and will be held on Thursday, September 3 at 3:00 p.m. CT. The webinars are free to all, but registration is required.

Join us as we bring together organizational leaders and artists from across Tennessee to share lessons learned as they and their organizations quickly shifted key programs into the virtual world. Despite not having a playbook to rely on, organizations and artists successfully pivoted and innovated in the face of incredible uncertainty.

Panelists will recount their stories, highlighting successes and areas for improvement, while providing key takeaways and resources to help you and your organization navigate virtual arts programming for the “new normal.”
