Today, the National Endowment for the Arts and Education Commission of the States released a groundbreaking suite of resources as part of the State Data Infrastructure Project for Arts Education – an initiative to help stakeholders in the arts extract, analyze and report on data about arts education.

SDIP resources include case studies of how education leaders in CaliforniaNew Jersey and Texas are harnessing state education data systems to improve arts education access and opportunities, a five-part technical toolkit on how to mount a state arts education data initiative and a summary of lessons that emerged from technical assistance we provided to states across the country.

Check out a joint blog post from Chairman Carter and Jeremy Anderson to learn more about the Arts Education Tool Kit, which is the centerpiece of the project.
