I am proud to have been featured on HGTV, proud to be a member of Tennessee Craft Southwest, and proud to have worked 38 years to inspire over 11,400 art students. Currently, I teach art with the Memphis/Shelby County school system.– Jones
In his studio, Jones creates American and African non-functional stylized figures using raku fired clay, wire and other mixed media. His sculptural work of men, women, and children of color is noted for capturing the human spirit of ordinary people.
